Previous Conferences

Our first conference was held in 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont, MN.  The theme was "Bearing Fruit in Vocation" with the following topics:
  • "Bearing Fruit in the Family" by Deaconess Pam Nielsen
  • "Bearing Fruit in Work" by Rev. Mark Sell
  • "Bearing Fruit in Government" by Dr. Joel Okomoto
  • "Bearing Fruit in Church" by Prof. John Pless
Our second conference was held in 2008 at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom, MN.  The theme was "Passing on the Faith" with the following topics:
  • "What is the Faith?" by Dr. David Adams
  • "Who is the Pass the Faith On?" by Rev. John Fehrmann
  • "How do we Pass the Faith On?" by Rev. Daniel Preus
Our third conference was held in 2009 at St. Paul Lutheran Church near Lakefield, MN.  The theme was "Heaven, Hell, and YOU" with the following topics:
  • "Heaven & Hell in Spiritual Welfare" by Dr. Steven Hein
  • "Heaven & Hell in the Church's Song" by Rev. Jon Vieker
  • "Heaven & Hell in the World" by Rev. William Cwirla
Our fourth conference was held in 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield, MN.  The theme was "Why Go To Church?" with the following topics:
  • "To Be Satisfied?" (Gifts in the Divine Service) by Rev. Dr. Kenneth W. Wieting
  • "To Be Uplifted?" (Music in the Divine Service) by Rev. Jon J. Sollberger
  • "To Be Empowered?" (The Christian's daily life of service and mercy after being served in the Divine Service) by Rev. Dr. Albert B. Collver III
Our fifth conference was held in 2011 at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom, MN.  The theme was "Witness, Mercy, Life Together: Rural Ministry" with the following topics:
  • "Witness from the Past" by Rev. Terry Cripe
  • "Mercy at the Present" by Rev. Dr. Carl Fickenscher II
  • "Life Together for the Future" by Rev. Dr. Wallace Schulz
